PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHYPatrick M. Demers, M. S. has been qualified nationally as an expert in the areas of chemical testing, the analysis of blood, breath and urine for ethyl alcohol and other drugs, and the interpretation of the test results. He was the former owner of DEMERS LABORATORY, INC, in Springvale, Maine and was an associate with Forensic Associates, Inc, of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mr. Demers provides consultation and expert testimony in civil and criminal cases to public and private agencies as well as private attorneys, insurance companies and industry throughout the United States. He has qualified and testified as an expert witness in twenty six states over the past thirty five years on issues of drugs, chemical testing and interpretation of the test results. He received his Masters in Forensic Chemistry from Northeastern University in 1985.
