CNN probes 5 nanograms as a legal limit for Marijuana DUI per se in Washington State

February 27, 2014. CNN reported last week on Marijuana DUI in Washington State by testing drivers after smoking a specific weight of pot and nanogram levels of active THC, the impairing chemical in Marijuana.  The results were telling and indicated that a legal limit for active THC in the blood for Marijuana DUI may be 5 to 6 times too low. In Georgia Marijuana is still illegal although popular sentiment seems to be changing as evidenced by this news story about Marijuana Trafficking in Houston County Warner Robins Georgia. Just read the comments. Also in Georgia to be convicted of Marijuana DUI the State must prove that you are less safe rather than proving some random level in your blood or urine as Marijuana like alcohol affects different people differently. See, Love v. State, 271 Ga. 398,517 S.E.2d 53 (1999). Watch the video and you be the judge.
