Ex-UGA Athletic Director Pleads Guilty to DUI in Atlanta Municipal Court

January 27, 2011: Damon Evans plead guilty to DUI in Atlanta Municipal Court last week.  He was fined $750 plus court costs which totaled $1192.00, ordered to perform 40 hours of community service, attend one MADD victim impact panel, and undergo an alcohol and drug evaluation.

He had completed all of these items before court so he was not required to be supervised by the Atlanta probation department.  Evans resigned from UGA and is currently living in Boston, MA in a marketing position.
